The Vintage Singles club at church (I wish they would give it a name that doesn't make me feel like a 1945 Jeep) goes out once a month for those celebrating birthdays. This month, there were two Barbs. This is one of them. The celebrants get to pick their favorite restaurant, so this time we went to Argenziano's in Vail.  The food there is wonderful, Italian, of course. I had eggplant parmigiana, my favorite dish.

The club has this goofy monkey which moves its arms and sings some hokey birthday thing It's either embarrassing to be a part of it in public or funny. I'm not a fan so I hope they don't break it out in August!

Still, a good time was had by all.

For their 30th birthday they go to the Lakeview restaurant because the waiters are cute and wear tight pants.

For their 50th birthday they go to the Lakeview restaurant because the prices are reasonable and it has a good wine list.

For their 60th birthday they go to the Lakeview restaurant because it's quiet and has a nice view.

For their 70th birthday they go to the Lakeview restaurant because it's wheelchair accessible.

For their 80th birthday they go to the Lakeview restaurant because they've never been there before.
