Sunny day

Here we are on our evening walk. The silaging had been done and now the grass is very short. I saw a nest with eggs in, pheasants eggs I would think and wonder if they will do ok now with no cover but nest looked intact although a couple of eggs had cracks in. Also I saw some pied wagtails, I always like to see them. I feel today has been quite a productive day. Grocery shopping, pet store, mowing the lawn, doing the washing and still time to sit in the garden and watch the great tits flying in and out of the nest box feeding their young ones.
