Time to sow

Today I got the sowing done on one of a few cultivation boxes in our allotment garden. In the box I will grow carrot, onion, radish and marigold. We never stay overnight in the garden place, although we have a good cottage there. We just visit, but almost every evening. The weather forecast promised rainy, so we had to hurry to get most urgent jobs done. We were lucky, almost the whole time it was sunny and warm, very summery. Small showers started a bit later than promised, just when we had to leave to home anyway.
