Stripped

Hadn’t traveled this way in a while so it was a surprise to see these buildings stripped back to the bones. Fortunately these are being refurbished rather than stripped for what could sold.

I managed to get home earlier than normal with the intention of getting food ready for Bookclub tomorrow. The only problem was we had no water, so the kitchen looked a bit of a mess by the time I had finished. You don’t realize how many times you turn on a tap until you do it and nothing come out.

It turned out that our main stopcock had been turned off when they were repairing something on the street, pity we didn’t think to look earlier.
