Down but not out

Our local park usually has a fine display of crocuses in the spring. They looked good last week when I walked past but by yesterday they were looking a bit sorry for themselves. I don't know if they have been rain-lashed or dog/children bashed, but very few were still standing. Those that were still looked beautiful though.
