The Verve - Slide Away

Had a throwback day listening to music I wish I could have bought when I was in my teens. Listening to REM’s Green and Out of Time, and albums by The Verve excluding Urban Hymns (everyone had that in high school). It took me to a time and place that I never was. Music I listened to back then like Oasis, Blur, The Chemical Brothers, etc. still feel timeless to me but stuff I couldn’t get access to is something else entirely.

Thank you streaming services for helping me save money, but sadly taking the mystique out of the search. I was certainly “out of time”.
