What a beautiful day for a run.

This was the venue we were running around for six hours yesterday, lush forest trails, open meadows, lakes and go ape!

The sun came out with a light wind all in all great running conditions.

I felt the effects of covid a little today, being a lap short of what I wanted, but lots of positives, fuelling went well and I coped in the heat warding off nausea for the first time! I was also the most stubborn and the last one standing going out for a final lap in the Nick of time!!

30 miles, done trophy, medal, flapjack and ginger beer secured! Tired legs but overall pleased with the day and event.
