THE BIRTHDAY….

….starts here and is likely to last for several days.
Quick trip to doctors!
Pedicure and manicure.

Cases packed. Still no idea where I was going.
Left home at 4. At Gatwick by 4:30!! Only to bump into The Revs brother and sister in law. I love their company and was delighted they were join us. Not only to celebrate my birthday but their delayed 40th wedding anniversary. Great surprise. Still no idea of destination.
Went through customs without being allowed to look at my boarding pass :)))
Had a meal…then it was time to board and I was handed a book on Lisbon.

I think I did amazingly on crutches too!!!
