Pruning the Berberis this afternoon (an hour’s gardening therapy), came across this ladybird, along with several others, hiding within the shrub.

A beyond-full-on day. 5.30am start, again. Had to call doc out for mum, at one point we thought she was going to have to go back into hospital. Endless medical phone calls. Beyond tired...
