Blues

Chris and I were off round the moor for a 4.5 mile walk into the wind by 9 am. The dogs were reasonably well-behaved. Rex only leapt on me once.

I picked this little posy for the table. #2 daughter and family are arriving any minute - I’m looking forward to hearing about her two new jobs. I have made a salad with curried cashew nuts on it for a starter and we are having a cannellini bean, pepper, tomato, chicken, chorizo, preserved lemon and black olive casserole. Pudding will be whichever homemade ice cream falls out of the freezer first. There will be alcohol.

Have a good weekend. Somehow I managed to walk 28 miles this week. Almost 450 miles done.
