On the river Charente

I popped into Saintes for coffee with two of my girlfriends as one of them is going down to her other house in Spain on Monday and we won’t see her for a while. We sat chatting for two hours and eventually had to move inside as the restaurant was getting busy with customers having lunch and they needed our table.
I parked in the car park over the bridge as I enjoy walking along the river and on the way back to the car I saw lots of picnickers in the park as well as people having lunch on this boat. We’ve eaten there a few times, it’s very nice but quite expensive. 
The sun is out again today, and already 29 degrees!
