Autumn onions

I have a dear friend who lives in Berlin. and he frequently sends me his arty picures. For me the results are a bit hit or miss, but he has got me interested in expanding my photographic horizons. So I give you: Autumn Onions. That is spring onions which are passed their best. My friend liked this. I try to remember that photography is almost always about light and composition.
