A big lilac tree.
The Feast Day of Our Lady of Fatima.
It is worth Googling the wonderful story recorded about Mother Mary appearing as an apparition, many years ago, in Portugal, to three very lowly children.
As a Roman Catholic, I still have respect and awe for the Marian Apparitions and for the holy saints whose lives of devotion to God and piety, can inspire us to turn daily to Jesus and live a God respecting life.
The temperature here in currently 17c. It is gusty outdoors. As I wear glasses, it seemed concerning walking in the wind, so I did not stay outside for very long.
The sunlight is hiding at present and the sky appears different from every window.
I was childishly delighted this morning, when many starlings were feeding their little ones from the bird feeder pole. They are aggressive eaters, not refined, but I love their sense of protectiveness to the fledgling starlings, who are at the mercy of the cold weather. They have all gone somewhere else now. There is a dear little young dog who barks quite a lot from next door, but Arthur our cat is not bothered by it.
Take care and thank you for kind comments.
