Shell Road

Today has mostly been a day of missed bliportunities. We started the day with loads of good intentions -got the Landy back on the road got packed and set off to do some cleaning. Then it all started to go wrong - forgot the extension cable, bucket, scrubbing brush, second scrubbing brush and oh yes, my camera!!
So on a day out with no camera what did I see? Well, I found some old tumble down buildings that I'd not seen before, visited Dervaig, bumped into a friend, went in search of hens, met a fellow <waves> blipper and family </waves> and then had a cormorant pose on a boat for us on the way home!!!
So by the time we had got in made tea and went out with the dog it was starting to get dark again but still managed to end up with more potential blips than I knew what to do with. This one was the only one that I had to take so therefore had to be today's blip.
Lesson learnt and the camera will be with me on the next outing :-)
