Feathered Friday

Today  is the first time there has been a small flock of wax eyes in the garden.  I put out pears, persimmon and gold kiwi fruit for them.  This was the most focused of my shots.  I still need to work on depth of field to get a group in focus.
We have had a delightful street drinks night.  Our neighbours Fred and Pam asked to host tonight because their son and daughter in law are visiting from Brisbane.  The first time in just over two years.  Everyone made an effort to come except the couple whose son has Covid and is isolating at home.  Fred is 95 and Pam 85 and this year they have stopped coming to drinks.  Pam has Parkinson's and is tired by the end of the day and can't walk far anyway and Fred is very deaf and finds a room of people tiring.
