Gone to the birds

A steady morning making progress on the model boat after walking Kasper. 
After a couple of coffees and after midday passed it was off to Rabbit Island for a BBQ with friends.
I arrived early so I could take Kasper on his pm walk and that's where I got my Blips of the Shags against the deep blue sky.
After completing our walk our friends were there and we fired  up the BBQ an sat with a stir fry and a glass of wine.
May here is the equivalent to November in the UK (seasonally speaking) and there is no way we would be sitting out in "T" shirts and shorts BBQing there.
As the sun was going down and the temperature was beginning to drop we said our goodbyes and headed home.
I did another drive by the Fire Station as I still had the fire pictures to pass on and found an open door with a fire officer behind it.
He was grateful for the pictures, some 70 of them in timed chronological order, and not only are they going to use them for training but are being passed on for the investigation so beside enjoying taking them it's ended being very worthwhile.
