against the sky - so blue...

that's right - ice - in april! brrrrr... woke up to frigid temperatures - my tootsies rebelling at such foolishness as this - surely we are dreaming and will wake up soon with all the fresh greenery of springtime - lush grasses growing - dandelions sprouting their yellow fuzziness everywhere - and we will be throwing down complaints about allergies - watery eyes - runny noses and the rest that comes with newly opening buds and blossoms... not ice and freezing cold and snow - i thought we were done with this season...

ahhhh - but the great joy of ice - is all the magical colors - facets of layering occurring in the formation - how it shines against the blue sky - the slight shimmer of gold therein - in a small but hurried burst of sunlight - answering the princess diva's call from yesterday - for her sunbeam to shine forth today - so though it's cold - remains a bit blustery - wintery and i had to wear gloves plus a hat - i also wore a smile for my princess grace - sunbeams - the wonders of ice and how the combination of it all - made for...
