Sunshine!

It is all a dog asks for (once she's had her breakfast and there's the promise of a long walk later on). 

We had a long and very brisk walk. Despite the sunshine, the wind was bracing to say the least. It's taking me a bit of time to adjust to proper autumn again after those three weeks of second summer weather. 

The walk did the trick though and I came home determined to catch up with admin. There were about two dozen emails waiting for responses, plus a few bills to pay, and an online hunt for inspiration for birthday presents for two 'difficult' male relatives. 

I've made a hole in all those tasks. 

And then of course there is the sock-mending pile.... Maybe that can wait until another day?
