Big Yellow Flowers

I read recently that the famous American man of letters, Henri Thoreau, once wrote that if you want to observe change in nature you should repeat the same journey every day.
Well every day I walk in the woods just outside my house with Archie the burst-baw lovin' wonder Lab and every day I see something new.
This morning, jumping out at me was a host of large yellow flowers down in a marsh area where Archie usually chases deer.
A wee mini epiphany... Spring is here.
