Worms at last

The first batch of worms were lost in the post, but the replacements arrived this morning. So the wormery is now set up and the worms are now tucked up in their new home with some carrot peelings and the box they arrived, suitably shredded.
Another unexpected arrival in the afternoon was the daughter of an old friend with her own three year old daughter. It was lovely to meet Lucy for the first time and to catch up with her mum and a great excuse to get the Duplo out.
The evening was spent starting work on the polytunnel. Out with the winter salad and the bindweed and prepping for the summer crops. To be continued ...
