Waiting patiently

We spent this morning at Castle Espie,  where the Black-headed gulls are busy starting families. This one was sitting on 3 eggs,  which we spotted when it briefly lifted off the nest.  
We also saw a family of Greylag geese,  mum, dad and 6 goslings  - I did take a photo,  but I was too far away for the photo to be any good.
