Blue and yellow

Just a quick blip today of some wild flowers from my Wednesday morning walk; blue and yellow for Ukraine. My friend J, with whom I walk, has a friend who is hosting a Ukrainian family. J has invited them to her house on Saturday so that their son can play football with her son and grandson. There are at least another hundred local people who have volunteered to host a Ukrainian family. What wonderful people we have in Farnham.

In the meantime I have noticed that some Ukrainian books (I think) have appeared within the Surrey eLibrary system. More thoughtfulness. In the midst of all the horror of the ongoing war it is heart-warming to see and hear of these many acts of kindness.
