Rain

Thank goodness we have finally had some decent rain. I can water the flower beds but not the trees and grass, which will really appreciate the steady rain we have had all day. The first iris to open is "subtle" almost to the point of boring, if a flower can ever be boring. The rain has also brought out the snails. At least this little one in the extra is quite pretty. MrHCB has put a rhubarb bell over one of the new hostas (second extra) in the hope of saving it, both from snails and muntjac.
