Blossoming

I've had the craziest of days today but it was all good. I led my first ever (primary) whole school assembly and I managed to make it through without throwing up (due to nerves) on any of the children. Phew! They also seemed to have genuinely enjoyed it as throughout the day various little people approached me to tell me my assembly was 'fun', 'cool' and one said 'crazy!' I think that was supposed to be a compliment...
I also had to lead a prayer. Mother Angeli was particularly delighted to hear about this. Cronin however found this hilarious. He made me repeat it when I came home and recorded it to play his very Catholic Mummy.

In the afternoon I was asked to help out with cover. I have to say, ninety minutes with year one has left me feeling more than a little bit ready for the weekend.....
