Goldfinch

Spotted this goldfinch with his unmistakable colours.  He was in a neighbours garden tucking into what looked like the remains of a thistle ,or something similar.   He stayed there eating for ages, it must have been full of seeds .   Lovely to see , they are very infrequent visitors now that the large tree next door was cut down
