Not usually lucky.

I love rhododendrons.
We had huge bushes at home when I was a child. We lived close to Alton Towers and they had - and still have, magnificent rhododendrons.

 (We used to walk up through the woods and into the park but when they started charging silly money for admission, they gave free tickets to those of us who lived in the village,

I bought a rhododendron bush years ago and this is the first time I’ve seen a bloom. If you look to the left you’ll see that something has had a nibble at the leaf. That’s my usual problem.

Fingers crossed that my three flowers develop. I shall enjoy them.
