The View from my Chair

This is my view from my chair where I sit like a very old lady with my poorly ankle elevated, water, grapes and chocolate to hand on the coffee table to my left. It’s not the kind of life I’m ready for but it does teach me a lesson in empathy for the less able.

Glasgow daughter was on duty overnight and today, at the same time chairing a Zoom meeting for her work. She has got off the hook to see an exhibition at the Dovecot Gallery this afternoon

Meanwhile my lovely neighbour Robbie came again wearing her nurse’s cap and a smile to change my ankle dressings and make everything feel more comfortable.
Blessed are nurses for they are the salt of the earth.
