Pop!

Smashing day today.

A last minute arrangement to see Jo and David for tea in the Grand Cafe at the Royal Exchange. They are over from Australia on a whirlwind world tour for Jo's birthday (David - wow, you are good at birthday presents!).
Really fantastic to catch up with Jo again, who was my best ever* pen friend when I was 16 (we met when I was over there on a youth orchestra tour in 1988). The last time we met up was 17 years ago in 1996 in Putney, amazing how the time flies.
I could have kicked myself for forgetting to take my camera, and then again (harder) for not even taking a shot with my phone.

Also, it sounds like Global Aerospace would like to renew my contract again, which is wonderful news as I love my job!

So Kate thought it was appropriate to have a glass of bubbly to mark a great day. I wholeheartedly agree.
