Gifts

Today really has been a gift.

- Today’s lunchtime with the college students was profoundly moving. It was a session that I didn’t feel I’d planned very well but it turned out to be a really precious time. Some of our students shared some vulnerabilities and there was just an overwhelming sense of the goodness and the grace of God in their stories. It was a gift and it will stay with me for a long time.

- A spontaneous visit with musicalblips after these lovely Lake souvenirs were dropped off at my office, reminders from the Lake District. It’s always a gift to spend time with Lucy and I’m grateful for the meaty chats we always have.

- A glorious run club. I know I go on about it a lot (YAWN) but this gathering of people has been the most incredible gift to me over the past year. Tonight it was warm and the conversation was wonderful.
