Fields of gold.

A view I have seen rather a lot of over the last ten days.Today on our way home the sun was still shining and we had time to stop.

For those not familiar with countryside crops this is Rape (or as our transatlantic friends call it Canola) from which comes Rape oil, in demand for cooking.  I suspect farmers who have chosen to grow Rape this year will be feeling very pleased with themselves, the situation in the Ukraine means there will be a shortage of rapeseed and so crops should bring a good price.
