Heathrow T5

Thank you so much for all your good wishes for a safe flight. All passed uneventfully and we arrived at Heathrow half an hour early and then had to wait a while for a parking slot!

Taxi was waiting and we were home 2 hours after landing. Our seats were over the wing so there was little to see out of the window, it had been raining it seemed earlier in the morning.

Today’s hurried shot was the up escalator into the main terminal, my sleep deprived brain liked the complexity of the ceilings and reflections. We did manage a few hours sleep. Just hanging in there til bedtime!

We were disappointed by the BA experience, particularly on the way back - we were in the premium economy cabin - the USB ports didn’t work, the breakfast meagre, there was no welcome pack or enough water. I’m sure BA have suffered the same as other airlines and are offering a less attractive service.

Thank you for all your comments while we’ve been away. So supportive and so delighted for us to be catching up with Landon and Chris after the long gap.
