What a stick in the mud!

While at the Kelpies this morning we spotted that the sea/river lock was open but the yacht was just not moving. On enquiring, we discovered that there is a small sand bar just in an awkward place and this yacht had hit it square on. The upside is that the tide was on the rise so a half hour or so would see them clear and able to enter the lock and on to the canal.
Bit embarrassing all the same.
