The Hunter Becomes the Hunted

This Red-shouldered hawk was high up in an Oak tree in the back yard. She was intently surveying the understory for breakfast. The Blue Jays were less than happy with her presence. The local 'party' of Jays swooped in, flying over her head, harassing and eventually chasing her away. The citizens of the yard breathed a collective sigh of relief!
