2 ..... cooncil workers to cut tarmac, dig hole and artistically arrange cones as illustrated.

4 ..... cooncil workers to arrive next day, remove cone decoration, drill into hole, remove more "stuff", peer into hole.

1 ..... cooncil gaffer to peer into hole, rub head professionally and shout to a guy in one of the three cooncil vans.

1 ..... cooncil electrician to peer into hole, shake his head professionally and talk to gaffer. Both shake heads in professionally synchronised manner.

1 ..... cooncil gaffer to notify us that his cooncil electrician cannae do anything until a Scottish Power electrician does his bit, timescale unknown.

4 ..... cooncil workers to tidy up and re-arrange cones artistically as previously illustrated.
