Adorable -

Four out of seven!
The Coppice Pond swans have done it again, 7 adorable cygnets. Wilsden Walker and another walking lady V saw them for the first time yesterday but they may have arrived at the weekend. Couldn’t resist popping up to see them as it may be more than two weeks before I get the chance again. 

We went after Pilates and lunch at Stephen Smith’s Hatties cafe which is the first place I’ve seen decorated in preparation for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations next month.

You can see all seven cygnets in the extra collage. Mum was in one of the bays on the far side of the pond with all of them. She made a little chirrup sound and they all followed her as she set off across the bottom end of the pond, suddenly she took flight to see off some nearby ducks so the cygnets all huddled together till she returned.
As in previous years a delight to see and share on blip.
