WET ROBIN

This is the American Robin (Turdus migratorius); it's really one of the thrushes. We call him Fat Albert (after the Cosby character). Clearly he hasn't missed too many meals lately. He's also developed a taste for grape jelly which I have left out for the orioles.

It was drizzly early this morning but the sun has poked its nose through the clouds. VERY windy yesterday...strong enough to push my heavy gas grill across the patio and move around all the chairs that were once so neatly stacked up against the table.

Will be dry this morning...big storms expected later this afternoon. I have to shoot a track meet about 16:30...not looking forward to getting wet. If there's lightning they will likely cancel.  Works for me.
