Herb Planter Redefined
I made this herb planter last year in March / April. We planted it up with herbs and they grew very well, so well was the result that we had more herbs than we could use. 
This year we redefined it to contain Hardy Alpine Plants. The soil was removed and replaced with stones and then a 50:50 mix of grit and dirt. Plants put in with a top dressing of alpine grit - I need to go back and get another bag :(
I have planted the alpines a bit closer than they need with the plan to thin out and move once they have become established.
