Saturday night

We eschewed posing in a style bar for a blissful walk in the park. From the falling gloom, swallows appeared like flickering bats atop the loch. Closer, they zoomed in apparent delight, buzzing back and forth, chatting away as they went. Then from over our shoulders, swifts, big, bold, black, arching past in beautiful curves. And we were happy.
