TV Time

They had a busy afternoon - a visit to the podiatrist straight from school over in Stamford and an unplanned visit to Granny and Grandpa (I thought it would be a quick trip to Stamford, but the boys were adamant they wanted to see Granny and Grandpa, so that's what we did. 

Podiatrist was useful, if annoying in her demeanour, has probably done herself out of a return visit. 

Home to find Amazon had been, I thought I knew what was in the parcels and that they were 'safe' to open - only to find I was wrong!  The perils of children opening parcels so close to a birthday.  I've managed to get the parcel wrapped up again, so the eldest can open it (again) on the right day. 

Today I'm grateful for: 
The husband driving to work, it feels so normal, and yet so not normal. The boys being determined to visit Granny and Grandpa - and being able to drop in to see them
A run and two walks for me today (which could explain why I feel quite tired now!)
