Flamborough Head Lighthouse

The walk to far. 

I thought I would head towards the lighthouse today. I was up early. I had all day. Easy. 

In some respects I wish I had never made that choice but a part from the pain it would incur on the walk, the long walk, the very long walk back it was the best choice. If I hadn’t I would have missed so much.  The coastline is fantastic with beaches and sea stacks. 

The lighthouse itself is difficult to photograph if you want to exclude the cars and cafe. 

There is also an interesting communications station behind ( not included as battery is nearing its end and I want to get this blipped before it dies). 

The icing on the cake however is probably too small to see on one of the included extras. 

Grey seals! Apparently around 60 or so come up to the beach at high tide. I might just be hanging around long enough to go see for myself. 

Long walk back was sole destroying. Made far worse by choosing the wrong fish and chip shop that all the hurrying was for. Most of it went in the bin.
