Chequers.

Took Ali on a fabulous walk this morning, we walked round the perimeter of this well known estate. I didn't meet a soul until I was on my way back. The monument on top of the hill behind is the one we could see from our old house.

J and Brian have been working on the fencing all day, it's looking good. I painted the piece of furniture I'm up cycling. It's had three coats of special primer and today the first gloss. I also started painting a little fairy house ornament that we found in the garden. I'm going to need lots of colours for that, hopefully I can combine some.

Cleaned the windows - The birds round here seem to delight in 'poo bombing' our cars and windows!
