Did pigeon

Wood pigeon are among the visitors to our garden. I always find them to be vaguely comical birds. They always seem a bit overgrown; a bit plump and a bit clumsy; a bit grand and a bit self conscious. They try to blend in and not draw attention to themselves, despite being the largest birds in the garden. While the smaller birds enjoy pecking lightly on seeds it seems that these birds like nothing more than bulking up on bread.
