Home is where the heart is?

Well if that's the case then my heart is at "home" in NY this week, where grandma's sick, Dad needs a hug, and the tragedies in Boston have been bringing me back to Septepmber 11th. But then I saw this sign on my walk today and thought about how this is home, too.

You know how people can have more than one culture? Like how when I'm in The US I say I'm Assyrian and Turkish but when I'm here I say I'm American? It's the same for home - here "home" is NYC but when I'm in NYC "home" is Istanbul. Interesting how place impacts our definitions...
