In the Slips

Those are my lads, standing at second and third slip. No edge here. It was a play and miss. Both of them bowled well without a lot of luck. Roam finally picked up a thoroughly deserved first wicket of the season. Forrest was getting some bite and turn and picked up two in two. It proved to be an easy ten wicket victory.

A lovely place to watch cricket at Dacre Banks, albeit rather chilly in the wind. The Nidderdale League has some wonderful venues, this one pleasantly in cycle range at 15 miles.
