Hot, hot, hot

It was a very warm day. Warm enough to encourage us to get the badminton set out - but then so hot we were soon flagging!

I started the day with my usual bellringing and then we popped out to pick up some stuff for a Roast Turkey lunch. And we had the joy of sticking the dirty dishes in the dishwasher afterwards - so nice to have that back.

Then we watched a bit of footie, mowed the lawn and did some more unpacking and moving of stuff displaced in the kitchen work. It’ll be the end of the month before things are finally finished so the garage is still full of bits and pieces that need to make their way into the kitchen at some point. I can’t face putting stuff in just to pull it back out again when the fitters come again so for now it is just living in the garage and at the point we need something I play hunt it down.

It took me an age to find where I had stashed kitchen foil and egg cups the other day but hopefully by this point we have retrieved the things we use most regularly.
