Mono Monday - Alice in Wonderland

There is a song in Alice in Wonderland called “In the golden afternoon” which features lots of garden flowers, and also includes weeds.  The dandelion (or Dandy Lion in the cartoon) has its place in the song.  My lawns are full of dandelions at the moment and I leave them as the bees love them, but of course my neighbours are not happy :-)).  Many are turning to seed now, and I love how intricate they are, and they look even more detailed in mono.  The seed heads will be removed today before they blow everywhere, so I got this photo early morning before starting the task.  Thanks to FrankS for hosting Mono Monday.  Will have to backblip for the weekend later today.
