No visit to dad today as he has gone on holiday with a friend. I decided I should crack on with painting the fence as it is was a perfect day weather- wise- warm but not too hot and a very gentle breeze. I spent 6 hours out there. I was hoping to finish the actual fence so just leaving the gate and touching up to do but my hand was aching quite badly due to wielding the brush on the very rough wood so I decided to stop. I’ve broken the back of it so it should only take another couple of hours. I won’t be able to carry on tomorrow though as a a gardener is coming to do some work on the shrubs and trees in front of the fence. It’s a very messy job and I’ll be pleased to finish
