The herring gulls were in herring-gull-heaven as the fishing boats chucked loads of little dead fish overboard. It got to the stage where they weren't even chasing each other for scraps - they were full up I suppose.

A couple of beers in the Volleys as the children read their comics and I skimmed the Thatcher Memorial issue of Private Eye. Some great perspective there.

And now for a children-packed weekend :)
