Morning coffee cup shadow

I was looking at blips and noticed the shadow of my coffee cup with a background of the trees' shadows. Blip done early. 
Another nice start to the day and I'd hoped to get more done in the garden, but both times I ventured out, it started to rain. Did manage to plant a small  pot of marigolds and do a bit of clean up. Hopefully tomorrow will be more productive.
Got a Mother's Day call from Renata and Kalyn and a message from Krista. Great to hear from them. Their card arrived on Friday with an Indigo gift certificate, so I'm looking forward to finding more good reads next time we're in Victoria. 
I read and relaxed, a nice change, and now I'm off to watch the Blue Jays game that G recorded.  Go Jays! 
Easy supper, leftover frozen soup (Cannellini beans with pearl barley and kale) for Sunday Soup. Best thing about making a big pot of soup, there's always enough left over to freeze for at least one other meal.
