Comrade

Slightly mixed attire - Soviet red army cap badge, and Union Jack bandana - a passer by on the canal tow path - I stopped for a chat, as I have a similar badge (thought I suspect his, being an Internet buy, might be reproduction) mine is definitely authentic - it was given to me in1970 by a demobbed soldier, (along with his belt and cap) as I was travelling across Russia on the (steam engined) Trans Siberian railway. I still have the belt - the cap my mother thought would give us trouble at passport checkout as we left the country.
